Legal Certification

Landlords must secure a number of legal certificates to prove they are compliant with current UK legislation. As part of our service, MMC will secure all necessary certifications including

Safety & Performance Certificates

Including Gas Safety Certificates, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certifications, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).

Performance Certificates

All properties must provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to prove they are in compliance with minimum efficiency standards for both electrical and water supplies.

As part of the Landlord Compliance Service MMC will assess a tenant’s right to rent and ensure that the landlord/property owner is adhering to all current anti-money laundering practices (AML) including entering into a government-approved Deposit Protection Scheme on behalf of the occupant(s).
